In March 2016, Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, established European headquarters in Amsterdam and launched daily non-stop flights from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to offer significantly enhanced connectivity between Europe, North America and India via the Netherlands. Jet Airways also entered a codeshare partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Delta Air Lines to provide convenient connections for passengers to and from key destinations across Europe and North America via Amsterdam.
Segway, the world leader in electric personal transport, opened a new European office in Amsterdam in June 2016 to better serve the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) markets. The new office will facilitate professional distribution, central management and increased marketing activities of the company’s smart, green transportation technology throughout EMEA.
Slovakia-based cleantech company Voltia established its Benelux regional headquarters in The Hague in September 2016. Voltia, which facilitates the deployment of electric vehicles into commercial fleets, chose the Netherlands for its progressive, forward-thinking values and logistics capabilities.
